		<description>It is a two-edged sword.  By unchecking the box you&#039;ve invited spammers to hit you with their junk invites.

I have the same problem on my Wordpress.  Register to comment on one side, get spammed continously on the other.

It&#039;s all due to the fact that there are more bloggers than readers, so spammers see that those who are writing blogs are the market.  It doesn&#039;t matter if the spam doesn&#039;t make it to your readers, it already made it to it&#039;s target market... you!</description>
